Whenever possible we include the tribological partners which are involved in this tribological system in our contemplations. Reference to this has been given at the corresponding places. However, it is almost impossible for a carbide metal manufacturing company to create and interpret a similar summary for influence and scope of defects through or at packing material, lubricants or even for gas compositions. The fact is that very often information required during inspection of the individual system components is not available as this information is often regarded as proprietary by the compressor operator and cannot be divulged to a 3rd party. A thorough design review of the tribological system in the hyper compressor is only really possible when carried out by the operator himself with the close cooperation of suppliers of the individual components involved.
